A Big Weather Event Caused By Multiple Phenomenon All at Once
When analyzing a crime or a crime chart, we often overlook the weather at the moment of the crime because we’re too busy looking for clues like video, the presence of DNA and location, the description of the suspect or if the victim will survive.
Rain/Clouds (Neptune) or severe weather might show that potential evidence was destroyed, a surveillance video might not be clear or it could change the timing in a suspect’s alibi/travel time/route. It may even result in an accident.
I wondered if there was a singer in the news at the same time.
When Mercury is in shadow period or retrograde, the weather can be odd or unusual (and most often includes rain or fog which can momentarily derail an investigation).

Saturn Reflects “Delay,” “Black” and “Death”
In the case of England’s Great Smog Attack of 1952 (reenacted in Season 1, Episode 4 of The Crown), the weather event was four days long and would result in a staggering death toll estimated at up to 12,000 people. Saturn’s position next to Neptune (fog or smog), delayed the fog over the country and literally can be described as “Death Smog” (Saturn, death + Neptune, smog). You can see how Saturn can be translated in charts when it’s next to different planets: Saturn + Mercury = “Death Ride”, etc.
You can see fog was involved during Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crash (look for Neptune “fog”).

Venus in the 2nd House: A Singer?
Take a look at the 2nd house of this chart and you’ll see the position of the planet Venus. When I noted this, I wondered if there was a singer in the news at the same time. Venus in the 2nd or Moon in the 2nd can show that a singer was involved, like the clue we saw in the Missy Bevers case. Sure enough, after a quick search, I found the headline for December 6th showing that not only did an opera singer make the news for throat problems (2nd house) from the Black Smog, but a girl (Venus) was stabbed with a stilletto (Venus 12) in the fog. 12 represents the Pisces degree (“shoes”).
Majorie Shires, sang the opera’s leading soprano role of Violetta during that very evening’s performance. (The) newspaper (clipping) – dated 9 December 1952 – detail(ed) the circumstances that lead to the cancelled show.
(Her daughter) also added; “My mother was Marjorie Shires and my father was John Probyn and they were both principal singers at Sadler’s Wells during the 1940’s and 1950’s. Marjorie wrote in the story of her life that ‘every breath was difficult.The next day I went to the throat specialist and the verdict was no singing or speaking for 6 weeks’. So there was damage done to her throat by what she described as a ‘black smog’.”

Science Merges with Ancient Astrology
Major fog events will include the phenomenon of temperature inversion where warmer air remains above colder air altitude-wise, which is the opposite condition of what it normally is and include some dynamic interaction between cold and warm air masses.
In the skies there is one figure that seems to embody these characteristics very strongly.
The first century astrologer-poet Marcus Manilius observed that Capricornus, the Sea Goat was strongly associated with both cold, wet and stormy weather and to fires (hot and dry conditions). About 80% of the stars of Capricornus currently reside in tropical Aquarius and for the Great Smog Event of 1952 there was both Mars and the north node placed in what is essentially the middle of the Sea Goat.
Mars in general tends to bring something ruinous and destructive and Mars was also conjunct the planetary south node of Neptune which rules toxins from chemicals as well as paralyzing conditions. Being on the planetary south node of Neptune suggests especially restrictive, malignant conditions involving Neptune ruled phenomena. As mentioned the north lunar node was also in the stars of the Sea-Goat (inversion temp weather factor) and the nodes signify things that connect many people together at once under some common event. The nodes here tell us “many sharing experiences related to temp inversion event” and with Mars and the nodes of Neptune there you get that modified to “ruinous, destructive temp inversion event shared by many involving toxins and paralyzing conditions.”
The second major factor that stands out for this event is the tight conjunction of Saturn and Neptune, a combination which signifies chronic debilitating illness. They are both conjunct the star Arcturus, which happens to be the determinant star for the Indian Lunar Mansion (Nakshatra) Svati (or Swati). This mansion is ruled by the Vedic deity Vayu which denotes air and oxygen plus wind events. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction also all in tropical Libra, an air sign so you have air/oxygen significators doubling up here and when you combine them you get “debilitating illness due to air quality”. Some 4000 people died during this horrific span of five days and mortality remained very high for months following the event. with elevated cases of chemical induced pneumonia and other respiratory irritations and illness.
Saturn-Neptune were also square Venus and the combination of Saturn and Venus has been identified with pulmonary emphysema (Ebertin) so this placement gives us more information on the possible severity of the event.
The Force of Planet Mercury
There was also Mercury stationing direct and therefore very strong in its general impact on world events. It stationed direct on the stars right at the edge (start of) the stars that comprised the chest of the ancient Azure Dragon which represented Spring and East in the Chinese cosmology. This was the end of Mercury’s Rx period and it went direct on the day the Smog Event had essentially cleared (the very worst of it). Rx station periods often signify oncoming illness while Direct station periods often signify recovery.
