Did a Curse Cause the Suez Canal Crisis?

When a large freight ship blocked the Suez Canal in March 2021, it seemed the whole world speculated how it would affect multiple industries – even causing a scare about a toilet paper shortage. Over 400 ships were stranded.

But i wasn’t until there was talk about a Pharaoh curse that made some astrologers take notice.

Notice 3 planets at 8°.

Curse of the Pharaohs

The Ship Curse

We have seen in event charts that 8° can represent occult things, like a curse (such as the Kennedy Family Curse). It may mean an actual curse or just talk about a curse.

Saturn 11° Moving an Artifact

The chart ruler is the lord of the sign where the Ascendant sits: Mercury (lord of Gemini).

Mercury  is in the 10th and conjunct Neptune represents “transportation by sea” or many small things (like cargo).

It might even show cars are in transit (but “missing”/NEP). Mars (ruling engine) is usually involved in a transport vehicle because you need an engine – and in this case it squares (red line) Mercury and Neptune.  The engine couldn’t operate.

To identify the ship itself, look for Jupiter which is at 22° – the ship is in danger (22: danger). It aspects Moon in Scorpio (shallow water).

To identify the Pharaoh you would look for Saturn – which in astrology represents a body or in this case an artifact.

Saturn represents something ancient, old and represents history.  Look at Saturn in the 9th (the “publishing” house and the “foreign lands” house).  News outlets at this moment are reporting (9th) about the curse and the fact that a Mummy is planning to be moved (11°, the Uranus degree “to move” or disrupt). What is aspecting the Pharaoh? Chiron (harm) at 8° – a harmful curse either to industry (Chiron is in Aries, representing business, police or military) or it will cause blood (Aries is ruled by Mars, “blood”).

Unrelated to the curse, from a general perspective, Jupiter/Saturn shows that ships will be blocked for some time.  This would be the beginning of a months-long problem of supply chain problems on a global scale.
